Report on 2009 Monaco UIP meeting participation Although we failed to host the 2013 UIP International meeting (USA 28 votes, Korea 25 votes, Turkey 9 votes), it was an opportunity to impressively promote our society, officially participating for the first time, to UIP member countries.
It was decided that Asian Venous Forum (AVF) would officially include phlebology societies from each Asian country as members, and Professor Kim Dong-ik from Korea was elected as vice president.
